My students are all precious English language learners and live in a very low socioeconomic neighborhood in Dallas, TX. It is a very dangerous neighborhood to grow up in, where education is not highly valued by some parents. My school building is old and many times the electrical fuse blows out because I connect three electronic devices at once. So I try not to rely too much on technology and use good old books to relay information.
