My students are third graders. Many of my students have developed the love of reading. Some of my students are still unsure how they feel about reading. However, when we start talking about facts and read nonfiction texts 100% of my students are engaged. My school is a Title 1 school. We serve students who are 3 years old all the way to 5th grade. We have two classrooms for each grade level. We have a huge range of students from all economic status. Our school also houses several special education classrooms. These students are integrated back into regular education classrooms. We have an average level of parent/community support. However our students are very appreciative to any and all support they receive.
