I teach sixth grade at a public school for predominately low income families in Rio Linda, California. My students come to school each day with an excitement and desire to learn. Imagine giving a group of sixth grade students the chance to learn science and math in an outdoor classroom.
Each spring we take our sixth grade students to camp for four days and three nights. At camp our students learn to work as a team while learning science.
