My students are 3 years old. Our room is an inclusion classroom with 12 regular education students and 3 special education students. They are happy, bright, energetic and eager to learn. Each day they run off the bus eager to start the day. Working with them makes you relive all the joys of learning. Our school is a Title 1 School. The majority of our students receive free lunch and live at or below poverty level. Our teachers are dedicated and love our children. We want to, no, need to give our students the experiences and support they may have missed and need in order to catch up and to be successful in school. Here at our school we try to provide support both for the children and their parents. We are on the journey of success for all the children together. Due to economics and lack of parental experience and understanding of systems from our parents the PTO faces a financial burden as well.
