Due to traces of lead in our school's pipes, students currently do not have access to potable water while at school, unless they bring their own. It's so important for kids to have access to water during the day, as it is a basic need.
Many of my students also come from low-socioeconomic households and do not have consistent access to food. It's important to be able to provide snacks and breakfast to these students when needed. These snacks, also serve as a great incentive throughout the day to keep students working hard!
