My students are amazing considering the home lives they have. Most are from poverty stricken homes with no technology. We are at about 80% free and reduced lunch in our school. I have to be the advocate for these kids because their parents don't know their rights as a Section 504 students. Last year ALL of my dyslexia students except 2 passed ALL of their state assessments...a huge achievement for them and our school. They are hard workers and have big hearts.
