My name is Lindy Terry. This is my 3rd year of teaching. I taught Kindergarten for one year, but now I am so excited to be teaching students with Autism in grades K-3!
My students are a part of a centrally located program from students with Autism in our district. They love to read, write, play, and sing. They are an incredibly fun group of kids who bring so much joy to our school!
My school is also a Title 1 School which means that a high percentage of our students are living in poverty. Many of our students also face language barriers or come from single parent homes. My students have to face these challenges every single day in addition to living with Autism. They are a resilient group of kids who remind me to always keep pushing on!
