When kids and parents walk into our sixth grade classroom, it is a place that they feel welcome. Our classroom is known to be a place where students' feel safe, make mistakes, have fun, laugh, take risks, foster friendships, read, write, create, and live to gain knowledge! My students are some of the most compassionate and hard working kids that I've ever met. They are always out to impress and make me proud! As a result, I constantly search for new learning, exposing them to everything I can! I love teaching, and feel beyond lucky to have found a career that plays such a pivotal role in the lives of so many. Over 80% of the students at our school are eligible for free/reduced price lunch, while 50% of the population of students are English Language Learners.
