As a Response to Intervention (RtI) Teacher, I am responsible for push-in and pull out support in planning instruction and/or adaptation of the
instructional program using the Response to Intervention (RtI) model to facilitate student learning in
accordance with state guidelines. I design and implement specific strategies designed to promote intellectual, social, and physical growth in all identified intervention students. I evaluate and measure the effectiveness of specific RtI strategies and interventions in order to refine Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 levels of support. The amazing students I work with are in Kindergarten through 5th grade. They require interventions in reading, writing and math. Receiving interventions specific to their level and needs builds their reading and math foundational skills. During our small group work, not only do their academic skills grow but so does their confidence.
