We are a very large school in an urban community. About 95 percent of the students in my school receive free and reduced lunch because their families struggle making ends meet. A significant majority of our students are English language learners, many of whom are refugees or asylees from other countries. We have 32 different home languages represented by our school population and we are always looking for creative ways to communicate with our families and bridge cultural gaps. I know they will be successful when given opportunities to shine and we appreciate any support you can give.
