I will expose my students to many different genres and subjects by reading a picture book a day to the classroom. I will also use the leveled chapter books for students to read independently and discover the joy of reading. With these books my students will be able to discover the main idea, theme and genre from all kinds of picture books. We will also discover the world of different characters and traits. Students in my classroom will also use these books to learn to write summaries and book reviews. It's important for students to have a wide variety of different points of view and subjects when reading.
