Many students can get bored easily during a traditional math lesson where one student comes to the board to answer ad the rest of the students sit and watch. I teach at a low income school where many children have problems focusing. Having white boards help students stay engaged because they can each work out the problem. This also enhances their learning because in Math we learn by doing. We use these markers in math everyday and the students love them. Unfortunately their dry erase markers run out fast. Many f the families my students come from worry about finding money to put food on the table and do not have extra money for school supplies. Buying markers or 40 students every time they run out is not in our budget right now.
