The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book.
My classroom of Kindergarten students is comprised of students come from a variety of different home environments and different family make-ups. Many students come from low income families. The students love school and love to learn. They are most excited about using technology and learning how to read, so combining the two seems like a perfect fit for this class.
My school is a rural school located in Kansas. Our school is an inviting and safe place for all students to learn and grow. We have Pre-K- 4th Grade classrooms in our building, with 480 students. 60% of our student population receives free or reduced lunches.
