My students are intellectually challenged that are in some inclusive general education classrooms but spend the majority of time in my self contained classroom. They are each unique and require diverse lessons which are differentiated to their special abilities and circumstances. Many of my students are several levels below their grade level peers. Some need functional skills that will help them lead successful independent lives when they become adults.
