Students in this day in age are used to technology at their fingertips. Chromebooks in my classroom will help my students get excited to learn in a way they understand. They'll be able to watch math videos through ZEARN, sharpen their reading comprehension by taking AR tests, be introduced to typing by letting their written stories come to life and SO much more. Early finishers will use Chromebooks to enrich their learning in a more challenging way. Struggling learners will use Chromebooks to remediate and relearn skills through assessments on TenMarks. Small groups will work together in Daily 5 centers to listen to reading and improve their fluency. There are endless ways to use these Chromebooks in our classroom.
"I do, you do." My students are used to this saying when we are using interactive notebooks. Interactive notebooks are a hands on way for students to practice skills we learn. A document camera would really help my students be able to see what I'm doing on our Promethean board and then be able to follow my example. My document camera will help me teach my students writing skills. By being able to watch me model, my students will be able to have a concrete example of what they're doing.
