Our school has a very mixed population. The school used to be Title 1 but is no longer and has limited funding. The Parent Teacher Association, while very involved, is only made up of about 7 active/involved members. Academically, we have a broad range from Special Needs Preschool (starting at age 2), English as a Second Language students, gifted students and exceptional education students. Our school is on its second year of the Sean Covey Leader in Me program and we are working toward "Lighthouse" status. This is huge and will really build a sense of belonging and community.
