I truly believe that the students and staff at my school are in the best place they could possibly be! Everyone is so positive and encouraging, and you can tell it always rubs off on our students. My students in fourth grade are so eager to learn, but they are getting to the age where they want to have input on what they are learning.
My school is in a low income area where many come each day and they are hungry, tired from helping with younger siblings or chores around the house that kept them up late the night before. Yet everyday, I see their excitement about what we will be doing at school that day. They are a remarkable group of young people!
