I teach in a Title One school, in an urban neighborhood in Houston, Texas. Our students are a mixed bunch of all nationalities, with most on free or reduced lunch. We are proud that our school, despite its difficulties, is in the top 25% of Texas schools, and is the number 1 ranked Title One school in the state.
Our science program rocks. Our kids are superb. Many of our kids have very good analytical ability. All we need is science equipment to allow them to shine.
