My 3rd grade students come in all shapes and sizes -- and with all types of temperaments. Some are eager to to come to the front of the room, but some are so shy they might never share in public.
Our blended learning environment serves over 1,000 students who take classes both at school and at home. On the days they are in my classroom, it is crucial that they have opportunities to participate in collaborative learning experiences where they work together and make presentations.
Some of my students are hesitant to speak in front of the class, even though they are eager to share their work. How do we help these shy students fully participate in the classroom experience?
