My students are a diverse fifth grade group. They are receiving their education in a highly transient urban school district. Our school is becoming more technology upgraded but it has been a slow process. This is my first application because I often buy materials on my own.
I have a very energetic class with LOTS of great personalities. They ask thought provoking questions and they keep me on my toes. They range in abilities from a child who reads three grade levels above, to a student who just came to my classroom a week ago from Mexico. They are very well behaved but they sure do like to talk and this can get in the way of what we need to do everyday.
