I teach in a high poverty area. All students receive free breakfast and free lunch at my school. Many families struggle to provide the basic school supplies for their children, but they give what they can. I have high expectations for my students to achieve in my classroom. They always come to class ready and eager to learn. They want to be successful in life and I make sure that they know that I believe in them.
