I teach a group of 50 kindergarteners in a half day program in Northern Virginia. I work in an inclusion classroom. They are an amazing group of kids who are also very excited about technology. We currently use my personal iPad during the "Daily 5." The Daily 5 is a student driven management structure designed to fully engage students in reading the writing. It is a literacy structure that allows for differentiation in the classroom and provides consistency. It is a integrated literacy instruction and classroom management system for use during reading and writing workshops. It is a system of five literacy tasks that teachers students independence. My students also use classroom computers to listen to stories, use phonics programs, and play the school math program "ST-math." Our school is full of amazing teachers who love what they do. Each teacher in our school goes above and beyond for their students.
