The children in my classroom are hungry for learning, especially about how things work and why things happen. Many come from poverty, but they are rich with enthusiasm, hope and creativity.
While it was a given that many of us ordered Scholastic Books each semester, buying books and magazine subscriptions is not the norm for my students. By helping fund this project, you would be gifting this diverse group of children something each child can keep, reread, take home to share with their families and call their own.
