My students are from a poor, urban area. I teach students with special needs. These materials will allow my kids to learn with hands-on manipulatives. The manipulatives will let students work cooperatively with engaging materials. My students need to have materials to hold to understand the concepts they need to learn.
The trampoline will be for providing movement as a fun, positive behavior management tool. I will reward students positive behavior and work by letting them jump on the trampoline.
The seating will allow students flexible seating for students that need it.
My students and I would be very appreciative of the chance to have these manipulatives. The flexible seating and trampoline will allow my special need students flexibilty and movement to greater meet their needs.
