I teach first grade in a school where all students receive free lunch. The elementary school where I work at has over 1000 students! Our school works hard to meet the needs of so many students who come from varied backgrounds, My students find math exciting! We start each math lesson singing: "Math! Math! We Love Math!" I try to make them realize that math is all around us not just in the hour I teach it in school.
