My students come from a variety of income and ethnic backgrounds. But one thing they all have in common is that they are from the country. I'm the big city teacher trying to bring the latest and greatest technology into their world (beyond their phones, of course). It's harder to keep their attention now days. I know projecting their own work will help. Our school is struggling to keep up with technology. I work in the one junior high in the district. It's great introducing new concepts and ideas to these students.
