My class is made up of students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. Many of our students receive free or reduced lunch and have very limited experiences outside of our very small community. Attendance is an issue at our school for many reasons, including a lack of engagement among the students and families. This grant would allow me to provide materials that would encourage out of the box thinking in my students. It would increase communication, problem solving skills and attendance.
