During their Junior and Senior years of High School, the students I serve work to prepare themselves for life beyond high school. Oftentimes, students struggle to find jobs because of their disabilities. While they are with us, they receive the preparation they need to apply for work, interview one-on-one and attend job fairs.
Part of their career preparation is to present themselves as confident young adults. Having a professional portfolio will assist them in appearing as students who are ready for the responsibility of adulthood. When they attend job fairs, the portfolios will assist them in keeping paperwork in order as well as have compartments to store business cards, pens and paper for notetaking.
