I have a very diverse class of students from all different backgrounds in San Francisco. They are full of love and are eager to learn. They love to communicate and are excited to learn Mandarin. I look forward to seeing them every day I go in to teach. My school is part of the San Francisco Unified School district. It's a small elementary school with about 300 students. We have a very caring and close-knit community. The staff gets along great and the students are doing well. Every Friday we have sing-alongs, which is great for all the staff and students to come together to sing children's songs. The principal is very committed to ensuring each student has equal access to education, no matter who they are.
