I love where I teach because there is such a diverse group of kids. We have kids that come from every type of financial situation, home life, and area. I came from a predominately white middle to upper class community to teach here and I have learned so much from my students. Some of the struggles they face and overcome are amazing to me. They inspire me constantly. Even on my worst day I would never want to teach anywhere else. We have kids who play football on a Friday night and then turn around and star in the school play Saturday night. Our kids support each other and care about one another. There is somewhere for everyone to fit in here. I truly love where I work, who I work with, and the kids I get to teach.
