Teaching students to read begins with the basics - letter naming and letter sounds. Lessons for my students are very individualized. Being able to create posters with letters and pictures to help with identification letters will be very helpful! Right now this type of work is quite time-consuming. A Cricut would save the day in this case as it will help with lettering and drawings. It will also save so much time, time that can be spent on lessons! Having a Cricut in the classroom will bring out the creativity in my students as well as keep them engaged.
It also will help with designing anchor charts that students use for reference during lessons and creating beautiful bulletin boards that parents and the community can appreciate.
The Cricut will create lettering and images that we can use for our classroom walls. This will not just save the students' time but my time as well since I find myself cutting letters and images through all times of the day and night to use in my classroom, which is very valuable time wasted when I can use it to plan engaging lessons instead.
