Most of my students come from low-income homes, which can be hard on them, as some of them do not know when their next meal will be or how they are getting to school the next day. But, you would never know this when they are in the classroom. My students are some of the most hardworking students around. They are in love with learning and are excited each day when they get to learn something new. They are so proud of themselves when they learn something new, and are extremely supportive of others who may have difficulty. Any time a student achieves something, it is like the entire class has achieved it. My students will stand up and cheer for a classmate who has reached a personal goal. Their support for one another is inspiring, and it has inspired me to do everything I can to make the classroom exactly what they need to continue to succeed.
