I live in the same small town that I grew up and went to school in, and because of this I understand our children and their families. The school I teach in is a Title One school with 94% free and reduced lunch. They are a very diverse group and enjoy the little things. I try very hard to make every day a special day for them. They LOVE to read!! They all have their own book boxes and are allowed to have at least 3 books in them. But unfortunately we do not have enough books in our classroom to change our books very often. These books will help to build my library for my students now and for my future students.
