The students at my school are remarkable. They teach me how to teach them, everyday. There are 430 students in my school. 66% of the students population is Hispanic and 34% are ESOL students. 80% of our students receive Free And Reduced Meals (FARMS). It is my goal that they receive the best education that they can get and that they are exposed to as many learning environments as possible. As the media specialist, I teach literacy and promote reading. I also teach technology and how to access technology in a responsible way. It would be wonderful to add a Maker Space for tactile learners in the media center. I love my students and my job!

About my class
