Covid-19 has directly affected the way we teach in the classroom. In some classrooms we are limited to the amount of movement, student interactions and many other limitations. For many of my students this is their first year of school and they know no different from previous years. With the limitations Covid has put in the classrooms it has taken away some of the fun of learning and the way we teach. The materials I鈥檓 requesting are story puppets, community helper puzzles, math games, rhyming games and letter games. I will be able to use these materials to spark my students interest about learning. These are some of the first skills students learn in school and I want to provide them with the best opportunity possible. The materials being requested will be able to provide my students with fun, engaging and hands on activities. Students will be able to work in groups or independently. I will have my resources available for whole group teaching and during centers. By having the story puppets, community helper puzzles, math games and language games I鈥檓 helping students advance their learning.
