My kindergarten classroom is filled with 15 wonderful boys and girls aged 5-7. I have two retained students, 1 child from Malaysia, another who receives speech services, and many of my students come from lower socio-economic backgrounds. This means that they aren't all exposed to technology at home and therefore need more practice and time to develop necessary skills. They LOVE all things learning and are hungry to know more and explore the world on their own. Our current two classroom computers are recycled and are at least 10 years old. As a result, they do not operate very smoothly and are not used as effective means of learning and researching. I love my job and my school and have such a passion for what I do! I want to provide the best opportunities that I can so that all of my students continue to love learning as they leave my doors and go out into the world.
