We are a Title I school with the majority of our kids on free or reduced breakfast and lunches. The economic status doesn't define my kids, it's just a component. My speech students are very special. Most teachers or Speech-Language Pathologists would say that about their students, but my kids are special. They are all so diverse and come from different situations. Some kids have life experiences that are heartwarming and some are heartbreaking. Some of my kids have enough energy for several kids while there are some kids that require a little extra encouragement to interact. All kids, all special, all ready to learn and experience speech-language lessons from new technology on a tech device!
