Our school is made of mostly lower and middle class students. It is a rural community. Our school is very lacking in the technology department. We have 15 computers in a lab to service approximately 350 kids. My kids are very well behaved. I have 10 kids who are considered homeless. I have 8 kids who are on a reading intervention plan. I have 5 students who have an Individual Education Plan. They are a great group of kids. They love to learn. They take home books from my library to read nightly. This is the only outside reading some of my students will accomplish. I require reading every night of the week. A majority of my students' parents do not push them to excel. Eight out of 15 of my students do not have computer access in their home. Therefore, computer time at school is all they will experience.
