Having these materials will make a difference in my student's learning by providing them with developmentally appropriate play opportunities at school since many of these opportunities have not been available to these students at home due to family circumstances and poverty.
We will use these materials to aid in teaching math standards of counting, quantifying, patterning and more. We also will be using these materials to provide literacy opportunities such as speaking and listening, building and creating letters and more.
Standards we will teach:
1.PK.4b
Count to 10 by demonstrating one to one correspondence using objects.
8.PK.2
Use and expand vocabulary to describe feelings, experiences, observations and ideas.
