I am a gifted consultative teacher with over 250 students between multiple schools. I share a classroom at a middle school for our Gifted Elective and an office at a high school for my consultative sessions with students. I do everything in my power to make my classroom/office space as welcoming as possible with good lighting, nice smells, and colorful dcor. It is my goal to create safe spaces for my gifted students to express themselves. My gifted students range in age from 10-19 with every possible skin color, socio-economic backgrounds, struggles, and strengths. I have taught some of my students since 2nd grade when I was an elementary gifted teacher and now I will be their case manager until they graduate. My job is amazingly unique and I am grateful every day for being able to work with these awesome kids.
