My students are at least three grade levels below their peers, have various types of autism and have communication problems. I teach in a public school that serves an inner city poverty population. But none of the above gets my students down, they want to learn and try so hard. It maybe difficult for them but when they do learn something new I wish you could see their faces! They light up and jump around like jumping beans.
