I teach at an amazing elementary school, where we build relationships with our students and their families.
We are a school with a high poverty rate, and many of our students come to school to find nourishment for their bellies and their souls! They may not get attention or food at home, and we do our best to meet their needs. My kids love to learn and come to school excited! Our school is a close-knit group of people who want what is best for our kids, every single day. My job as their teacher is to give them a safe place to take risks, celebrate successes, and learn from mistakes.
