My students attend a diverse school. I have roughly 115 students that I see daily. Some of the students are more privileged than others. Many of my students receive free or reduced lunch. The love to learn but most can not afford to spend the extra money for supplies like magazines, colored pencils, or other materials. As a result many of the teachers supply the students with these materials. In the past the school was able to supply the things that teachers needed for their classes but because of budget cuts and struggling economy many of these items have been cut from the budget.
