My students are Special Education geometry students who work extremely hard and have terrible math anxiety. They attend a school in Massachusetts with a great deal of diversity, however it always seems that Special Education students are the poorest in any school and our school is no different. As a Special Ed teacher, I am privy to more personal student information than are regular education teachers and on most days I wish this weren't the case. Though all of my students are kids you can trust with all you have, its hard to imagine how this can be given some of their backgrounds. Have you ever wondered why some kids from hard homes turn out wonderfully?
