We are requesting an easel so that my more at risk students can access class writing projects, and letter formation. As well as deepen our phonemic awareness using magnetic letters. We will use the easel to collaborate our ideas and interactively write together. We will share the pen as we write complete sentences and parts of words to create magical writing work.
The easel and word games will give my most needy students much needed tools to help them have a successful school year. We will also use the easel in a whole group setting while the other students on the carpet participate by writing on their individual white boards. White boards and an easel will also be used to facilitate number talks in math.
