My students: I teach seventh grade science in an inner-city middle school in Houston. It is a Title I school (where more than 90% of the students receive free or reduced lunches). Because of their socio-economic status, students do not get to interact with technology as much as they should, until a very late age. Since the world is becoming more integrated with technology, these students need to be exposed to it so they may be able to compete with their peers.
