Students love dice! The variety of dice in this project will allow us to explore numbers, shapes, word building, money, and many other concepts while getting to shake and roll dice. These concepts are the building blocks for all the learning that takes place as children grow through school. Activities we can do with dice include roll and count, adding, playing board games (the art of taking turns while learning one-to-one correspondence), matching numbers to words, understanding groups of ten, and number line placement. Really the possibilities are endless. Want to get a student interested in learning? Hand them dice.
