My school is a Title 1 Junior High located in a neighborhood where most of the students live. My students are predominately Hispanic and many are language learners. Many of the students are of low socioeconomic status and receive free and reduced lunch. The kids here have many needs and often school for them is a break from a crowded apartment and babysitting siblings.
