My students attend a high poverty school where majority of their parents are trying to make ends meet. But with all the obstacles their families face my students come to school everyday and ready to learn new things. Each one of my students are driven to succeed and they are like little sponges soaking everything in that is being presented to them. They are always finding connections to their personal life that can be related to the theme we are learning. They inspire me everyday to become a better teacher.
