My students are underprivileged elementary students in a school designated as a priority 1, that have a deep love for books but are not fortunate enough to have many to choose from. They are fun, imaginative, and eager to see where their next reading will take them. Many of them come from homes where they spend much time on their own, having to do their homework and prepare their breakfast (if any) on their own. Our few books have already taken my students on exciting journeys to faraway places and sparked their imaginations.
